This blog is for family and friends to keep tabs on my shenanigans. Especially when I’m quite bad at keeping in touch via email and such.

After 30 years of staying at home with the folks, I decided it was time to have some time to myself. You know, before other big commitments in life come along, scary things like that. I wanted some ‘me’ time. Away from home. Away from people I love.

I miss them dearly, but I’m relishing every moment of this adventure. I’ve always wanted to work in a different country, so when this opportunity came along, I grabbed it. I never dreamed I would end up here, of all places (I was actually hoping for a place without a language barrier). But now that I’m here, it’s actually pretty cool. And you’re welcome to live that dream through me.
